I awoke to grandma telling me her room got colder not warmer over night so I knew something was going on with the furnace. I gave Chris a call from Cheeky who understood the dilemma we were facing and didn't want grandma to freeze so he fit us into his schedule. He was able to diagnosis the problem and get the heat back up and running.
What I respected is he said this would mostly likely be a band-aid and a temporary fix but would solve the immediate need to keep grandma from catching hypothermia.
Fast forward to less than a week later, we had our next set of guest coming into town so I flicked back on the heat and sure enough the issue was back. Chris fit me into the schedule to comeback and take a deeper dive into the now ongoing issue. It was determined it was time replacement parts would be required to truly fix the root cause and not slap another temporary band-aid on things.
Less than 48 hours the issue is resolved, heat is back, and no guest will get frost bite during their stay!
